The Most Amazing Thing that Has Ever Happened in My Life

About 50 hours ago, the most amazing thing that has ever happened in my life took place: My son was born.

He weighs 5 lbs 15 oz, is 18 inches tall, and has little brown circles around his pupils.

I can't even begin to tell you how amazing this woman is. She's incredible. I love her so much, and she blew my mind doing a natural birth.

All he's wanted to do since he was born is eat and sleep. He doesn't cry, except when the nurses poke him with needles, and pull stickers and band-aids off his legs and feet. He likes to have his hands held.

He's got my toes and ears.
