How Do I Make Peach Pie

I know it isn't Thanksgiving yet, but I was overwhelmed by the number of peaches just sitting on display at Smith's, and I couldn't help myself.  Memories of my grandma's kitchen filled with the sweet and savory aroma of peach pie invaded my inner cortex and I couldn't help my self.

Interestingly enough, it isn't so hard to make peach pie, even from scratch. All you need is some flour, lemon juice, peaches, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and about an hour.

I had never made pie before, so it's not like it takes a professional baker to do it.

The crust was the hardest part. It required some effort and I didn't get it exactly right, but it was still pretty good.

Put it in the oven and wait...

Being the good person I am, I washed all the dishes while the pie was baking.

The edges were getting burned, so my wife told me to wrap them in tin foil.

Yummy!

As far as trying new things goes, this was a success. I'll do it again for Thanksgiving!
